Question for the group
A longtime reader writes:
Hi Violet,
Do you remember the article (I think published within the last year) describing a study that explored negative attitudes towards women held by men who use porn? I have been searching various blog archives, but haven’t been able to come up with it.
This sounds vaguely familiar, but I really have no idea. Anybody?

Here’s a study about men who buy sex compared to men who do not. The latter group had to be defined loosely. (“We had big, big trouble finding nonusers,” said Melissa Farley, a researcher. “Non-sex-buyers” eventually were defined as “as men who have not been to a strip club more than two times in the past year”):
