I have a trip coming up and I think I’m opting for the pat down. I feel I’ve been radiated quite enough already.

I flew last week. I was only sent through the metal detector, but my husband was scanned. Personally, I’d rather be seen than touched, but I think that the main reason for escalating the invasiveness of the pat down was to make the body scan more palatable.
