Instalanched
My blog was instalanched this morning and it took down the server. If you can see this at all, you’re lucky.
And now my mod queue is full of unbelievably stupid people. God.

The Senate is going to vote on whether to bring the Paycheck Fairness Act to the floor for a vote on Nov. 17th. It would be great if everyone would call their senators Nov 16th, which is when NOW is trying to organize a national call in day.

An instalanche is when a blog is linked by Professor Glen Reynolds, AKA Instapundit. He is a law prof. from Knoxville.
His readers tend to be conservative/libertarian, so the difference in both volume and world view would be pretty notable for a blog from the left side of the spectrum. -

It’s like being inundated with creationists. These are people who think Glenn Beck makes sense and Sean Hannity tells the truth. All you can do is just wait for them to leave.

The funny thing is that Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) has linked to me lots of times, but it hasn’t usually taken the server down. Maybe it has before and I just slept through it. But it was so bad today my host actually suspended my account.
There are a few intelligent and interesting people who read Reynolds, of course, but the ratio of noise to signal is just astronomical. You should see my mod queue. Christ.
