Vote for single payer
Only two more days left to make Medicare for All one of Change.org’s top ten priorities.
Change.org says:
Final round voting begins on March 1 and ends on March 12. The 10 most popular ideas will be presented to relevant members of the Obama Administration, and Change.org will subsequently mobilize its full community to support a series of grassroots campaigns to help turn each idea into reality.
No, I don’t know what that means either, but it can’t possibly hurt. We need all the help we can get.
Go here to vote for single payer/Medicare for All.

Don’t know if it will help, but I agree it probably can’t hurt!

Thanks! Single-payer is in 10th place now.

10th place – it’ll never win. :(
I think people vote for other options because single payer seems like almost too much to hope for. But every other civilized nation has it. I don’t see why we can’t have what everyone else does.

Single payer is best for women, and it’s barely hanging on in 10th place by 100 votes.
The Top Ten ideas will be presented in the White House by change.org, and given that the White House hasexcluded and censored, this is one of the few ways to get the idea of single payer in through the front door.
So please, go vote. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY!

Voted.

I voted days ago, but I *do* have multiple email addresses. ;-)
I realize it’s not going to accomplish anything – “presenting” something to a White House that is bought and paid for won’t accomplish anything except allowing us plebs a nonviolent outlet for our frustrations.

Looks like Single-Payer closed out at 12th place. 1st place? Legalised marijuana.

Did they take down the list? I don’t see it anywhere.
Hm. They’re going to officially announce the results on the 15th. odd.

Yes, the voting is now closed. And they took away the rankings, too, pending validating the votes.

12th place? Damn. Well, animal rights are more important…

Legalizing pot’s way more important than affordable health care.
Sure it is!

Violet, can’t wait to see what you are working on! In the meantime, I have a feeling things are not going to go well today with Health Care.

Natasha: He took my lunch money. No, things are not going well.

Just made my daily blog pass, saw that this was still the top post, and thought: “wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to vote for single payer for real,/b>!”
Too bad it was only an internet poll.

Too bad I can’t correctly handle HTML tags, too ;-)
