I’m going with the dragon demon
The eclipse yesterday:
I’ll never forget the eclipse of March 7, 1970. We were in Charleston, South Carolina, right in the path of the eclipse. It was so thrilling! Much excited preparation beforehand, with explanations on TV and warnings about how to shield your eyes, etc. We stepped out on the front porch that afternoon, the moon passed in front of the sun, and everything went dark. My brother and I peeped up at the corona while my Dad took pictures. Wonderful.

No one else is supporting the dragon demon theory? Okay, I’ll second.
Can’t remember the year, I think mid-90s, there was a solar eclipse on a week day. Quite a number of us from my office complex went out to observe. It worked pretty well since we’re on the riverfront. I did the pin-hole viewer thing. Everyone had a good time. It was like one big party.

I appreciate the support, ye.
I’ve been messing with the lounge. Made the pictures in the footer clickable, added the MEEGLA.
I’m still experimenting with sidebar widgets.

Dragons. Yay.
lolkitteh? What the heck is that?
I too remember the eclipse. But more memorable was the time the moon got blood red, and larger than I can describe coherently. I can’t remember what that moon thing was called. No. Not a harvest moon. Those we get every year. This was some kind of once in a hundred years moon. It was spectacular. Blood red. About eight years ago.
