Who’s the dumbest Vice-Presidential candidate?
It’s not Sarah Palin:
Actually, a friend in Democratic circles assures me that Joe Biden isn’t really stupid; he’s just drunk. Either way, the dude’s speech on the coming doom that will grip the Obama administration gave me one of the few belly laughs I’ve had recently. Go out and win those votes, Joe!

I’m not sure this is so funny. Or unthinking. Brazile said something similar recently. Go back to your list of what you expect to happen if he’s in office.
They are trying to prepare their followers to accept all the ugliness that will happen, including perhaps invading afghanistan/pakistan.

I just read the transcript of that speech, and leave it to the media to pull out only the criticism of Obama.
I’ll have a post about her whole speech tomorrow. I’d love to find a video of it; right now I’ve just got the transcript.

I hate doing that. Send me an email and I’ll start sending things like that privately so you can construct one of your eloquent posts around it.

Oh, but you see, Obama’s young. A young president would never die in office. Well, not naturally … unless Sarah Palin, oops, I mean, some nasty racist shoots him. Joe will just be the wise old uncle giving a sage word now and then to his brilliant protege.
But McCain is old and at death’s door. That’s why we can’t have some young, cute chick who might as well be blond for VP. She has, like, a womb! And a baby who came out of it. Icky! She couldn’t possibly do that presidenting stuff.
*sigh* I miss sanity. It ain’t much fun down the rabbit hole.

I’ve been looking for the transcript. A link, pray tell?
Thanks in advance,

foxx, they don’t need to prepare their followers, they’ve already proven again and again they’ll go along with anything.

Thank you.
Palin hits one outta the park. Again.
Methinks the 0bamaBots have “misunderestimated” Sarah Palin.
Either she wrote it herself or somebody’s writing for her who *really* knows her “voice”.
Frankly, I think that the McCain campaign has finally “turned her loose” as either they think they have nothing to lose by so doing, or [here's what I *really* think]:
The internals are telling *both* campaigns something different that what we’re seeing in the publicly released results.
Obama is expending resources and travelling to states that supposedly he has “locked up”.
McCain and Palin are going to states that have supposedly fallen into the “solidly blue” category.
Either both campaigns have suddenly gone stupid or something’s up, which, from the looks of things, doesn’t look good for the 0-man.
I said months ago regarding the 0bama campaign:
“I haven’t seen this much youthful enthusiasm since the McGovern campaign of 1972.”
And we *all* know how well that one worked out…
Thanks again, and best regards,

I watched the Palin speech yesterday with an ear to ear grin on my face. She is fabulous. I am so excited to vote for her, and I will be so excited to vote against her in 2012 when she runs against Hillary.

I found it interesting that the banner below Gov. Palin attributed the Biden on the job training quote to her.

The attacks on Sarah Palin have gotten worse. We are just going to have to work harder.
Obama didn’t know how many states there were in our country, but Palin is being portrayed as stupid and incapable and incompetent. This is sexism at its dirtiest. I agree, she has great patience. I would have gotten up and left the degrading Couric interview.
But if Obama is elected this just means we have to work harder, and those of us left who love this country and will not see it fail have got to work harder.
I’m going to making a site as well very soon.

Kiuku says:
Fox news released new info on Obama’s relationship with unrepentant, still motivated, home grown terrorist Bill Ayers. He even endorsed his book, among other things. No way he didn’t know who the guy was. Obama is a flat out liar.

Same here. Except I’m pissed off at HRC right now for supporting Obama. Also, I heard she said she wouldn’t run again. shrug
-
Carmonn says:
She said there’s little chance that she will run again, which most people are interpreting as I’ll run if he loses but I can’t say that.
-
wiggles says:
HRC will be 65 in 2012 and 69 in 2016. It’s within the realm of possibility that she’d run for pres again, but just barely. I think this last shot was it for her. One gets a very narrow window in which one can run for president. The outliers would be Reagan and McCain on one end and Obama and JFK on the other. Being a woman doesn’t help with that either. Too young and you’re a frivolous nitwit using your sex-appeal to get votes. Too old and you’re, well, too old. If you think the Cheetoheads and the media have been nasty - imagine what they would have been like if HRC had been approaching McCain’s age.
btw Palin’s pretty sharp here. I disagree with what she’s saying, but I can’t help but compare her to GWB and think ‘wow. if even this ultraconservative neophyte had been running the u.s. for the last eight years, we’d probably be better off than we are now.’ I mean at least she can form a sentence.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Palin over the next couple decades. She’s growing rapidly in this position, and she’s obviously much smarter and savvier than she gets credit for being. I just hope she doesn’t go all Phyllis Schlafly on us.
