Voter Suppression in West Virginia happening NOW
I just got this on an email list:
Could you pass some info on to the rest of the callers that are
calling into WV?I’ve been talking with some people already on the ground in WV and the
Obama camp is calling voters, NOT to get out the vote, but to ask for
money – campaign donations. The gist of the call is that its not
important that they vote, because the election is over, and then they
ask for money to help put this primary campaign to an end and move on
to the general election. Basically, they are telling voters its over.
Then they ask for $400 donations. What the dollar amount is about, I
don’t know. Perhaps they are just getting greedy.

Funny that they talk about The Math so much when Obama can’t even get the number of states right:

The Times’ conscientious Robin Abcarian thought she heard something different there. She checked her tape recorder. It had captured what he had actually said — 57 states now. A new Louisiana Purchase that’s gone unannounced so far? Was he channeling his inner John Kerry-Heinz 57 personality?
(UPDATE: At a later stop Obama was talking with reporters and expressed concern he’d also mis-stated the number of potential cyclone victims in Burma. He said, “”I hope I said 100,000 people the first time instead of 100 million. I understand I said there were 57 states today. It’s a sign that my numeracy is getting a little, uh.” At that point, an aide cut him off and ushered journalists out. Before he could mis-speak again?

Call me crazy, but I think it’s the Obamabots — the ones who say the Democratic party doesn’t need women, working folks, Latinos, and for that matter, gays — who are hurting the party.
