A Catholic columnist answers the jail-time question

By The Ghost of Violet · Thursday, September 6th, 2007 ·

Matt Abbott in Catholic Online:

That said, I do believe, in some cases, the abortion-seeking woman is indeed the perpetrator. She knows very well what she’s doing. She’s not coerced by anyone. Perhaps she’s even going against the wishes of her loved ones. This is the woman who should be treated as a criminal – if not a murderer, then an accessory to murder.

What would be an appropriate prison sentence for such a woman?

Fifteen years-to-life sounds reasonable, no? Of course, one would have to take into account all the circumstances in a particular situation, and it wouldn’t be an easy task. But it could be done.

If Matt ever decides to leave the Church, he could do some fine work at Landover Baptist.

Shorter Matt: Women keep trying to abort ME!

  2. Timothy Shortell says:

I can’t help but wonder what punishment ol’ Matt was recommending for real criminals, namely pedophile priests and the conspiratorial administrators who covered up their crimes.

  3. Pastor Al E Pistle says:

I must comment about this and the near-preceding posts. (1) Homerism is a choice. If you make that choice, you will gargle lave in Fire Lake for eternity. (2) Women are McRibs for men, created by GOD, although some are wrapped a little better than others. I speak allegorically to maintain congruence with the American colloqueal, but we believe that taking a bite of someone else’s McRib, or sampling a McRib without purchasing it beforehand is a sin. According to the Bible, both the sinner AND the McRib are to be taken to the town square and stoned to death. It doesn’t matter that the McRib is innocent…GOD’s LAW is to be obeyed without question! We have an entire thread at Landover explaining why abortion decisions are most appropriately made by men; after all, this is the twenty-first century! The old notion that women are responsible enough to make important decisions…like voting..are passe’. Anyone who still cleaves to ridiculous, outdated and disproven ideas which contradict the Literal Truth of The KJV1611 (Authorized) Bible will be dunking for charcoal in boiling sulphur for eternity. Finally, this entire business of cathylickism. The Pope is SATAN, and the office he holds can be directly traced beck to the Egyptian fish-head god DAGON. The pope still wears a fish-head get-up when he is wearing his nice dress. All Catlicks are destined to spend eternity with SATANs huge, barbed member slapping at their backside, not to mention what various assorted demons have planned for them. Questions regarding this cult may be referred to me personally, or our ex-cathylick nun, Sister Mary Maria. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding you had regarding any of these questions and once again I urge you, et. al., to tithe to Landover NOW, before JESUS returns to kill everyone at Armageddon.

It is with much sadness and trepidation that I notice free speech has once again been repealed at the good offices of Dr. Socks. It is very ungood that opposing viewpoints are not allowed but, since President Bush set the agenda, I understand why Dr. Socks must be politically correct and present only her own viewpoint. After all, that is the basis of freedom in America, innit.

    Huh?

I have it on very good authority that the Goodly old fellow, Pastor Pistle, who is almost the patron saint and Santa Claus of women’s liberation insofar as it is permitted by God; a man who has stood solidly behind women all his life, closer than Senator Craig stands behind the police, and urged them to achieve new and lofty goals under his tutelage…..

This hero of women is on moderation. It is a slap in the face to good citizens everywhere! Why, the honor of his August Presence in this forum is something to be savored and cherished!

Say, is the body still on ice? Lemme know if it ain’t too far gone, willya?

  7. The Ghost of Violet says:

Paul, everybody is on moderation. Thank the cheeto dicks.

Yep, the body’s still on ice. I have it hooked up to a heart and lung machine to keep it all nice in case I decide to go back.

  8. Paul Tergeist says:

“I” am not on moderation. I daren’t inquire what a cheeto dick is, but I’m guessing whatever they are, they don’t smell too good. I s’pose I ought assist you in preserving the musculature of the late apple-cheeked Dr. Socks by coming by and applying a little electroshock here and there to see if it twitches. I’d hate to have to do the whole Fronk’n Steen deal over again. All the lights in the village go out and when they come back on I can see that the peasants are revolting.

You can’t make this shit up!

Hindu hardliners say the project will destroy what they say is a bridge built by Ram and his army of monkeys.

Scientists and archaeologists say the Ram Setu (Lord Ram’s bridge) - or Adam’s Bridge as it is sometimes called - is a natural formation of sand and stones.

    No evidence

In their report submitted to the court, the government and the Archaeological Survey of India questioned the belief, saying it was solely based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana.

They said there was no scientific evidence to prove that the events described in Ramayana ever took place or that the characters depicted in the epic were real.

Hindu activists say the bridge was built by Lord Ram’s monkey army to travel to Sri Lanka and has religious significance.
