    New meaning to presidential seal.

  2. simply wondered says:

    THAT was it!!!

could only be improved if it was biting the bollocks off dave cameron.
but my gratitude is deep. also fraternal greetings, vi, on the day after the festival of socialism and the working person.

i was listening to radio 4 today (ah you bloody liberal hippyshit old person, you!) and they seemed to think the repuklicons had a bunch of candidates that none of them would actually like – their favourite would be some old guy who backs the stepping up of military activity in iraq (even the shrub seems to want them out – in a ‘not-saying-i-want-them-out sort of way in case people think i’m not a mountain dew-crazed dictator any longer. it’s great – we are led to believe the right feel juliani is a dangerous radical because he only joined the NRA this year and wants his wife to come to presidential meetings – or something; maybe i heard it wrong. it’s over 20 years since i stopped giving a shit about what these insane rich people decide to do. it seems to matter little which one it is, they all fuck us over – but bless ‘em it’s not as if it’s a plan; most of them seem unsure whether we exist and if so where we are on a map…

  4. Violet says:

It was election day over there today, wasn’t it? Did you go vote for your buddy Dave? Or rather I guess for your local conservative MP, good Tory that you are?

I was without my internet connection most of the past 20 hours or so because it was raining. Raining. I ask you. Now I have it back just in time for bed.

  5. simply wondered says:

no – our council seat weren’t up for election today; all rather pointless as it si a solidly conservative ward and council – westminster, where dame shirley porter got up to her criminal tricks. last time i was forced to spoil (or improve as i thought) my paper with the words ‘none of the above’, though i did add thank you, as i didn’t want the recorder to take it too personally.

while we aren’t on the topic, have you seen this site? it’s a real train crash (featuring conservatives) awful (yet makes me laugh). on one post a conservative accused liberals as always making ‘ad homonym attacks’. i think that’s much funnier than ad hominem. should become common usage.

i also had a very pleasant game of cricket today (with egg sandwiches for tea). we really are like the stereotypes!

  7. witchy-woo says:

    “We”?? “We”??

That’s the royal “we”, I take it? ;)

I, too, spoiled my last ballot paper though, I have to say, somewhat less politely than Richard.

They’re all a bunch of shysters, really.
